Some of the best experiences in life are made better when we share it with our friends or loved ones. A semi-private lesson is an opportunity for you and one other person to experience surfing with personalized instruction and no other distractions/people/competing skill-levels to contend with. Whether it’s your first time or you are experienced surfers, these lessons offer a chance to form unforgettable memories while receiving the best instruction Los Angeles has to offer. Semi-privates offer the best bang-for-buck of any product we offer.

Before you arrive:

We’ll ask about your experience level to get an idea of where you’re at. If it’s your first time the land theory portion will be longer. If you are more experienced the lesson will be mostly in the water.

We’ll give you an update on conditions and maybe slightly adjust the timing for an ideal situation

We recommend you bring a towel and some water. If it’s a colder season, bring some warm clothes for after. We’ll provide the board and wetsuit. But you are more than welcome to bring your own equipment.

10 minutes before the lesson: We will have you sign a waiver and get into your wetsuit.

Your 2 hour Lesson Structure will vary greatly depending on your experience level. This is your time we will spend it how you most want to spend it. If you’d like pictures taken we can offer that free of charge, if specifically requested. Otherwise, we’ll keep the focus on improving your surfing.

At the end of the lesson: we'll head back dry off and change out of the wetsuits.
